Shipping Terms and Conditions
HOW WE PACKAGE OUR PRODUCTS FOR SHIPPING
Your satisfaction is very important to us; that is why we take great care in hand packing your order. Regardless of shipping method, ALL ORDERS are packed in our custom, insulated CooLiner bag with the appropriate amount of cold paks to help protect your order from the elements during transport.
SHIPPING DAYS
Most orders are shipped in 24 to 48 hours, Monday through Wednesday so your items will not be in transit over the weekend.
WARM WEATHER SHIPPING
When it’s hot outside not all delivery options are available. Temperatures in the zip codes your order is shipped to and from help determine delivery options. Please ensure that you choose an appropriate shipping method to prevent melting during transit. Generally when the temperatures are above 70F it is recommended to opt for earliest overnight delivery.
RECOMMENDED SHIPPING METHOD
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we recommend you choose the Standard Overnight Delivery shipping option, regardless of the ship to address. If you choose to ship other than the recommended method we cannot guarantee your shipment.
SHIPPING OPTIONS
During checkout, you will see available delivery options and shipping rates for the ship-to address you specify.
The three shipping methods we offer are: FedEx 2-Day Air, FedEx Standard Overnight and FedEx HomeDelivery.
2-Day Air Delivery: Packages typically arrive before 7pm the second day following the ship date. Orders received after 12:00pm CST on Wednesday will not ship until the following Monday or next available ship day.
Standard Overnight Delivery: Packages typically arrive before 4pm the next day following the ship date. Orders received after 12:00pm CST on Wednesday will not ship until the following Monday or next available ship day.
Home Delivery: Delivery time is typically 2 – 5 business days within the contiguous U.S. following the ship date. Orders received after 12:00pm CST on Wednesday will not ship until the following Monday or next available ship day. The FedEx Home Delivery option is only available in certain states due to the perishable nature of our products. If you elect to ship by FedEx Home Delivery (ground) even with our custom insulated CooLiner bags and cold paks we cannot guarantee your chocolate products will arrive in proper condition.
P.O. BOX DELIVERIES
The Chocolate RegimenTM cannot ship to P.O. Boxes. Please consider having your order delivered to a business address or to an address where it can be stored properly.
REFUNDS & RETURNS
The Chocolate RegimenTM will make every attempt to ensure the service and delivery of your package and product is of the highest quality. But due to the nature of our products we cannot offer a refund nor can we accept returns.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY DISCLAIMERS
The Chocolate RegimenTM is not responsible if an incorrect address is given to us for shipping. If the incorrect address is given to us for a particular shipment and the shipment is re-routed by the courier for delivery, there will be a charge of $25 to your credit card for each shipment that is re-routed. The Chocolate RegimenTM is not responsible if the wrong delivery address is given and the package is delivered to the wrong and/or unknown recipient. The Chocolate RegimenTM uses the best and most secure of shipping agencies. The Chocolate RegimenTM, however, cannot be held responsible if the shipping agency delivers an order to the wrong address. We will always do our best to rectify any problem that should ever arise.
Most orders are processed within 1-3 business days of receiving an order. The Chocolate RegimenTM will make every attempt to process your order as quickly as possible, but due to factors outside of our control such as weather or shipping agency we are not responsible if your order does not arrive at the requested destination by a designated or requested date or time.
If your shipment is damaged due to handling during transit, please contact us as soon as you receive the shipment so that we can contact the shipping agency to initiate a claim: info@lechocolatdubouchard.com or 630.355.5720.
